Lettermen Will Elect '48-'49 Basketball Captain Tonight

Seersucker suits and green grass are sprouting up all over, but the varsity basketball team is still trying to thrash out the problem of who will captain next year's squad.

At a meeting tonight, the twelve lettermen will elect the 1948-49 leader, unless, as scattered rumors predict, they decide the choose a game captain for each contest. This procedure was used by the football team last full after Captain Vince Morvec's injury.

Last night's scheduled meeting was forced into adjournment because of attendance too sparse to produce a majority vote.
