HUA Election Will Feature No Referenda or Survey Questions
Over 300 undergraduates will undergo intensive questioning by 60 members of the Student Council's Committee on Supplementary Instruction this week to provide a cross-section of student attitudes on "academic life outside the classroom."
The extensive scope of the questionnaire which asks about advisers, tutorial, "bull sessions" with the faculty, and joint research projects represents the expansion of the Committee from a group originally interested only in tutorial, chairman David C. Poskanzer '50 told the Council last night.
Wants Ideas
"We are not interested in more statistics," Poskanzer said, "but in the informal, freely-expressed ideas of each man." Both interviewers and interviewees represent each College department.
The council last night also voted to send two delegates to the formative meeting of the Greater Boston Student Government Council.
