President Conant will speak on "off-the-record" topics barred from press coverage at Thursday night's Second Annual AVC Banquet in the Hotel Commander, chapter chairman Stanley G. Karson '48 said yesterday.
Conant has made no other appearances this year before a private function of a University student organization. He shares the head table on Thursday with Chat Paterson, AVC national chairman, and Cord Meyer, Jr. of United World Federalists.
Paterson is expected to report on his and vice-chairman Richard Bolling's "stewardship" of AVC since the withdrawal of Charles G. Bolte last June--with special emphasis upon recent progress in integrating chapters with union locals.
Meyer will discuss the international situation.
