Rain, wind, and even snow did their best, but the Crimson tennis team pounded out two resounding victories this weekend to boost its seasons record to four wins and two losses.

On Saturday up at Brunswick, Maine, the team, playing little attention to the wisps of snow underfoot and the howling gale overhead, swatted its way to an 8 to 1 victory over Bowdoin. Patriots Day found the same crew celebrating at Wesleyan, this time in a match that was called because of rain, with Harvard ahead, 7 to 0.

Singles--Backe won, 6-2,6-2; Pratt won, 6-3, 9-7; Wightman won, 6-1, 6-1; Ager won, 6-0, 5-1; Bullard won, 3-6; 7-5, 6-0; Swartzman won, 6-4, 7-5. Doubles--Coon and Fry lost, 6-4, 6-3; Backe and Ames won, 6-3, 6-8, 6-3; Swartzman and Hughes won, 6-4, 7-5.
