Fifty candidates for election to the student Council started gathering petitions last night, after six Houses and Dudley had held preliminary nomination meetings. Leverett alone failed to draw a quorum of 25 percent of its members, and it has scheduled another meeting for tonight.
Freshmen will name their contenders at a meeting in the Union tonight at 7 o'clock.

Nomination meetings were temporally confused when bad enunciation substituted a Kilpatrick for a Fitzpatrick, and a Bartlett for a Bartle.
