HYD to Hit 'Red Baiting' April 26

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Harvard Youth for Democracy members began a door-to-door campaign yesterday publicizing their "Civil Rights Meeting" scheduled for April 26.

According to the HYD, a "red menace neurosis" is being artificially generated by groups like the Thomas Committee.

Speakers include the noted singer Paul Robeson; Professor Lyman Bradley, who was convicted for contempt of the Un-American Committee and later evicted from the chairmanship of N.Y.U.'s German department; Carl Marzant, a former agent of the OSS found guilty of making false statements on a government application; and Communist national committee member, Claudia Jones, now on ball pending deportation proceedings.
