Harvard, 'Cliffe May Soon Have Joint Sex Talks

Harvard and Radcliffe may soon be having sex lectures together.

Put on the scent of a new series of Radcliffe lectures about "sex and marriage in modern society," 50 Crimson undergraduates, with hair neatly combed, presented themselves at Long-fellow Hall Wednesday to hear Dr. Thelma G. Alper, lecturer in Clinical Psychology, give the first in the series.

Although Dean Sherman, introducing the speaker, said that the meeting was intended only for girls and that she highly disapproved of the male contingent, a spontaneous vote among the Radcliffe students persuaded her to allow the men to remain the one time.

Sex is Key Subject

Dr. Alper announced to the gathering that she welcomed the opportunity to address a mixed group, and thought the whole series should be put on a coeducational basis since the subject was of key "importance to both sexes."

With the next meeting scheduled for Wednesday at 4 o'clock, no action has so far been taken on Dr. Alper's suggestion that the remaining lectures be opened to Harvard.
