Injury-Ridden Sextet Makes Long Jaunt to Yale Tonight

By Bayard Hooper

Chances for a Varsity hockey win over the Eli tonight in New Haven are fading by the hour, as one player after another joins the injury list. In fact, if the game were any further than 12 hours away, there would probably be no one left.

Barring an act of Good on the way, three lines and a couple of defensive units, not to mention a goalie, will still take the ice; but a recent injury to George Minot's foot jeopardizes his usefulness on the first line for tonight's encounter. His absence will further cripple an offensive punch already weakened by the loss of Tom Moseley from the second line.

The defense is equally full of holes. Charlie Coulter's lines may keep him out of action, and Bill Allen may join him on the sidelines with a leg injury.

The starting goalie is still a three-way toss-up, but tradition would indicate the captain, Jack Lavalle.

If what remains of the squad shows the do-or-die spirit that usually characterizes any Yale game, the Crimson may yet emerge a winner tonight. HARVARD    YALE Minot  l2  Moher Key  c  wood McKean  rw  Ritz Washburn  ld  Wlch Greeley  rd  soper Lavalle  g  Burns
