Thirty embryonic politicians will vie for ten positions on the Class of 1951 Jubilee Committee today. The polls will be open in the Union and Dudley Hall from 12 to 2 o'clock and in the Union only between 5:15 and 7:15 o'clock.
John Cowles, Jr. '51, supervising the elections for the Union Committee, stated last night that Bursar's card or other positive proof of identification would be required of all voters.
The election will climax three days of feverish poster and personal campaigning, and several candidates, undaunted by failure to win berths on the Freshman Smoker Committee, are again attempting to become members of the '51 hierarchy.
The Jubilee, traditionally the big weekend of the Freshman year, is scheduled for early May. an informal Friday night dance will be followed on Saturday evening by a gala formal. Talk of hiring a "name band" for the formal has been circulating for several days.
Posters More Sedate
Posters displayed in the Union and Yard dormitories show a marked change since the Smoker election three months ago, owing their "now look" to Student Council prohibition of risque tableaus.
