Unique as a club tie at the Hasty Pudding, Leverett House stands in quiet and unobtrusive respectability amidst the river breezes, reveling in the glories of the only trapezoidal dining hall in Cambridge and the only House tennis court.

Beyond these two features the "Bunny Hatch" has little to distinguish it from the rest of the red-bricked edifices along Memorial Drive, mainly because no single activity has mustered much response in the House. Instead, Leverett men dabble in almost every pie around the University, without leaving much time for strictly House activities.

Nevertheless, Leverett boasts the first House Glee Club, beer parties, candle-light dances, an annual Junior-Senior Dinner with table service, "concentration dinners," and an original Walt Disney bunny which decorates the dining hall.

Leverett is a House where the incoming Sophomore will find friends, privacy if he wants it, a library strong in History and American Literature, and general comfort in suites ranging from spacious multiples to cramped two-man singles.

As a place to live, any Leverett man will recommend it; as an activities center or a forum for breakfast table education, the hutch is non-existent. The days of athletic supremacy have also faded into Leverett's current mediocrity.
