"The Thomas Committee's smear of scientists is just an episode," Professor Victor K. Weisskopf of M.I.T. told the Student's Association of the Natural and Social Sciences last night in Winthrop House.
"If he really wanted to campaign against scientists, even Thomas wouldn't have started with a man as guiltless as Bureau of standards head Edward Condon," Professor Weisskopf said.
