Thugs Hijack Student Heave Him in Charles

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

After robbing David E. Nudd 1GB of 40 cents and a wrist watch three youths heaved him off the John Weeks Memorial bridge into the Charles early yesterday morning to "teach him to carry more money."

A good swimmer, Nudd made it safety to the shore, and walked to Harvard Square. After a trip to the Cambridge City Hospital and treatment for bruises and immersion, he returned to his news in Morris Hall, refusing to spend the night at the hospital.
