Golfers Leave Tomorrow for Southern Trip

With a leisurely tour of the South ahead of it during the spring recess, the golf squad is preparing to relax and compete all at the same time next week.

The team will practice at Pinchurst, North Carolina, the "golfing center of the world," before going on to Chapel Hill to challenge the University of North Carolina in its opening bid on the already green southern links.

The five members of the team who are making the circuit include Captain Sam Savage '46, Bill Rickenbacker '49, Jack Denton '59, Bob Matson '50, and Ozzle Keiver '48. Coach Barclay will not be able to make the trip with this group.
