Ernest W. Gibson, Governor of Vermont, will be guest speaker tonight at the first open meeting of the Young Republican Club. The talk is datelined for Emerson D at 8 o'clock.
After being introduced by professor Robert Amory, Jr., '34, Lecturer on Law, the Governor will speak on the "Crisis of 1948," stressing particularly the role of young people in politics.
Gibson is flying from Montpelier later today, and will be the guest of the club's planning committee for supper early in the evening. After delivering his address, he will immediately return to Vermont.
