Freshmen Win Two, Lose One, Draw One

Yardling squash and hockey teams both celebrated successful weekend journeys, with the racquet outfit trouncing Yale, 8 to 1, at New Haven and the skaters battling a strong Dartmouth sextet to an 8 to 8 tie at Hanover.

Led by Henry Fosier, number one man and brother of Varsity captain Adam Foster, the Freshmen had little trouble in romping over the Eli, something neither the Varsity nor Jayvees could do in their games.

Four of the Yardling wins were scored by men who had never played squash before September. Captain Mason Harding bowed in his set to give the Bulldogs their lone tally of the match.

Meanwhile, the '51 sextet pulled from the short end of a 5 to 2 count to tie the heavily-favored Green at the end of the regulation three periods. Both teams scored twice in the hot overtime period which followed.
