Terrier Skaters Whip Yardlings in 6-5 Win

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Yesterday was a bad day for Yardling and jayvee skaters, as a strong Boston University sextet edged out the Freshmen in a 6 to 5 contest that was followed by a 5 to 0 shutout of the Jayvees by Belmont High.

The freshman game, one of the roughest of the season, saw 14 penalties, as the speed and finesse of the B.U. squad proved too much for the Yardlings. Joe Kittredge starred with two goals.

The Jayvees still showed the effects of the recent exam layoff, as their younger rivals completely dominated the play, exhibiting better coordination and faster stickwork during the entire rout.
