Dudley, Bellboys Win House Tilts

Dudley Hall moved into a fourth place tie with Eliot House in the intramural House basketball league yesterday as the result of a 30 to 24 victory over Winthrop. Both teams have now won six and last five.

Ted Nelson, who copped scoring honors for the day, poured 12 points through the hoop for the losing Puritans, all during the first half.

In the day's only hockey game, Lowell crushed Leverett, 7 to 1. Don Gormley tallied twice for the Bellboys, while Leverett's only goal was scored by Colin Bentley on an assist by Art Cooper.

Goalie John Brock had a shutout going into the final minutes of the game, when he moved from the goal and was checked into the boards by one of his own teammates. Bentley pushed the puck into the unguarded net, and Brock suffered a cut over his left eye during the tussle.
