'51, Jayvee Fives Play Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Nothing very tough or terrifying faces the freshman and jayvee quintets today, with the Yearlings shipping off to Exeter and Coach Hal Kopp's team taking on Suffolk University in the Blockhouse at 7:30 o'clock.

The Freshmen already have a 54-40 victory over Exeter, racked up last Wednesday, to their credit. The Crimson had depth, steadiness, and smooth floor work over the prep-schoolers, and had little trouble scoring a substantial lead in the first half, a lead which the reserves stretched into a runaway victory in the second canto.

Kopp's quintet is out to stretch its seven and three record. Dartmouth, Yale, and a much heralded skirmish with the Crimson Freshmen loom close on the schedule, and the Jayvees look to Suffolk as a test of their newly acquired top-condition.
