Springfield to Oppose Jayvee Quintet Here Before Varsity Scrap

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Billed with the Varsity for the first time this season. Hal Kopp's junior varsity basketball brigade tackles the Springfield jayvee quintet in the evening's curtain-raiser tonight at 7:15 o'clock at the Indoor Athletic Building.

Although forwards John Altrocchi and Bill Mobraaton were promoted to the Varsity last week, neither has seen varsity action yet and Kopp might use them tonight rather than let them sit the main feature out on the bench.

The rest of his lineup will include Frank Lionette at the pivot post and Captain Dick Covey and Chuck Brynteson in the guard slots. Pat Dailey, John Goldsmith, and Dave McGiffert will probably fill the forward positions, should Kopp decide to leave Mobraaton and Altrocchi to the Varsity.
