Sophomores will cast ballots for Class Committee members today for the first time in Harvard history. Thirty-two men have been nominated, by petitions and by a special committee, for the Class of 1951 group.
Ballot boxes will appear at lunch today and tomorrow in Dudley Hall for Commuters. Sophomores who live in the Yard and outside dormitories will vote in the Houses where they eat.
The purpose of the class committees is "to encourage class unity and fellowship," according to the Paul Report on Glass Affairs which forms the basis for the organizational changes in the class system.
