Hereafter any titles Barbara Laughton wins will have to be prefixed with a "Mrs." Miss Massachusetts of 1948 has abdicated her throne in favor of a Harvard man.

Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. she married James M. Graham III'49 of Dunster House in the First Unitarian Church of Cambridge.

Both the bride and groom were members of the cast of the Harvard Theatre Workshop's "Troilus and Cressida." Miss Laughton was scheduled to play Helen of Troy and her new husband was to be a Myrmidon in the production. Both of them had been in rehearsal for more than a month.

Recently Engaged

Although they had known each other a year and a half they became secretly engaged only two weeks ago. The announcement of their marriage took HTW officials by surprise this weekend. It is uncertain whether the couple will return form their honeymoon in time to assume their roles in the play. Peter Temple, director of the play, is now scorching for someone to learn the role of Helen before Wednesday night's opening performance.
