As a graduate student in Biophysics, Daniel Steinberg '10, presents "The Public's Stake in New Medical Research" as the first aspect of the new atom explosion into the medical field. Donald N. Michael 16, graduate student in Social Relations, will discuss "The Public Reaction to Atomic Developments" in an analysis of the effect of the discoveries on the public mind.

"The Responsibility of the Press" in handling news about atom research is the topic that winds up the discussion. Alan Berth, Nimean Fellow and editorial writer for the Washington Post, will deliver his view on this subject.
