'Cliffe sharpshooters are organizing a marksmen's club to match their accuracy against the University rifle club.
Last spring Claire Ham '50 rounded up ten Annex students who considered target practice a good way to spend their extracurricular hours. Harvard's Ride Club granted the girls permission to use the shooting range in the Indoor Athletic Building one night a week, and even supplied them with an instructor, Henry Peltz '51.
This term the group hopes to attain recognition as a full-fledged club.
Horsewomen Organize Club
Intramurals took a new turn yesterday when Ann Weirum '50. Athletic Association chairman of riding, announced there would be an inter-class horsemanship competition December 3.
In addition to the regular open and closed horsemanship events, the committee is planning a game program, including musical chairs, egg and spoon, and possibly bareback riding.
Radcliffe equestriennes ride autumn, winter, and summer at Good's Riding School in Medford. When it snows the riders take to an indoor arena.
At the end of the spring term, 'Cliffe riders will turn out for an intercollegiate horseback meet. Last year six Radcliffe girls rode against 20 Jackson College Yiders and took top honors in every class
