Radcliffe Official Will Read From Romeo and Juliet

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Annex students with their dials tuned to 800 next Tuesday evening will hear Miss Florence Gerrish Director of Residence in the dormitories, render her interpretation of the balcony love scene from "Romeo and Juliet,"

Radio Radcliffe has turned over a half hour of air time to the ex-secretary of Equity actors guild for the first of a series of play readings by Miss Gerrish.

Nancy Buhrer '49, business manager and ex-president of the Cliffe radio stations, expressed hope of making these renditions a regular monthly feature, and mentioned a proposal to restore "Idler on the Air" as part of the station's schedule.

These play readings are not new to Radio Radcliffe. Two years ago the idler show had a regular sport on the station every other week.

Miss Gerrish began her play readings last year. On occasion the station requested various actresses to do a similar show. Panay Prince '48, now starring in HDO's "Amphitryon 88," was a guest speaker last year.
