The problem of balancing the world's natural resources with the increasing needs of its population will be the subject of tonight's Graduate Forum, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Emerson 323.

The speakers are Peter Joralemon, Nathaniel Kidder, and Clyde Mitchell, all graduate students. They will discuss the situation from the point of view of geology, agriculture, and population, each speaker taking one of the aspects. With his as a basis, they will attempt to formulate intelligence conclusions on the problem as a whole

Malthus' "Essay on Population" will be the basic text for the discussion.
