University delegates to the national American Veterans Committee convention, concluded in Cleveland Sunday, overwhelmingly lined up behind an AVC decision expelling Communist Party members from all chapters.

The Harvard delegation, also voted in favor of suspending eleven chapters because they defied AVC's stand against the appearance of a New York City member on a political platform.

The resolution banning the Communists read:

"The totalitarian principles and destructive policies of the American Communist Party are inconsistent with the democratic principles and constructive program of AVC and inimical to its welfare. Communist Party members are ineligible for membership in AVC."
