Photo Club Sets Entries Deadline For First Salon

Five of the nation's outstanding photographers will judge the Harvard Photographic Society's first salon of the year next week. Both black-and-white and color prints will be featured in the show.

Samuel Chamberlain, author of "Fair Harvard," Richard W. Cartwright of the Boston Club, and Gyorgy Kepes, professor of visual design at MIT, will head the judges panel. The other two judges are Mrs. Lee Ellis and James Brook noted Boston amateurs.

Tuesday Deadline

Entries, which must be in by Tuesday, will be received at Stoughton 14, Kirkland I-33 or Dunster C-46. The prints will hang in the Union until next Saturday, December 4, when they start a tour of the Houses.

The contest is open to anyone connected with the University, although only undergraduate and members of the society are eligible for the prizes. Rules are available from president Alfred M. Weisberg '47.
