Henry Lamar's Freshman eleven raises the lid on this afternoon's Crimson-Bruin football when it meets a strong Brown cub team at 12 noon on Soldiers Field.
The Freshmen will probably work both running and passing attacks against the Brown winged T attack which last week beat Yale, 19 to 6. Bob Ray, Bill Fitzpatrick, and Charley Walsh will do most of the ground work, while passer Carroll Lowenstein tosses to both ends and backs.
Coach Lamar has spent most of the practice week trying to smooth out the weak spots that last week cost the Freshmen a 27 to 13 loss to Dartmouth. It was weakness on fundamentals, says Lamar, which accounted for the second half fumbles and pass interceptions and set up the Green's four touchdowns.
The probable Crimson lineup: Sergienko, le; Raverby, lt; Hanson, lg; Julian, c; Carduff, rg; Hill, rt; Cass, re; Lowenstein, qb; Healey or Walsh, lhb; Ossman, rhb; Ray, fb.
