HDC Lays Bare Amphitryon Tonight

Advance sales for tonight's performance of "Amphitryon 38" are the highest in the history of the Harvard Dramatic Club, Publicity Chairman Peter D. Dibble '48 announced last night. Over 600 tickets had already been purchased up to last evening.

Members of the HDC ran through a full-scale dress rehearsal from 9 p.m. last night until 1:30 a.m. putting the final touches on the presentation of S. N. Bohrman's comedy of mortals, Gods, and bedroom situations Everything is all set, Dibble announced, for "what we expect to be a sell-out." Sanders Theater holds some 1200 people.

Dibble also revealed that plans are under way to present a repeat performance Saturday night after the Yale game. Word from New Haven has been extremely encouraging, he explained.

Robert E. Miller '48, president of the HDC, made an official announcement last night that a ticket contest run in a CRIMSON advertisement was merely an eye-catcher and publicity stunt.
