Cabot Hall Girls Douse Deweyites

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Water bombs discouraged a carload of Dewey supporters last night, as they campaigned with a megaphone beneath the windows of Radcliffe's Cabot Hall.

Third floor girls threw paper bags filled with water at the young men who urged them to "Vote for Tom Dewey," and played music from their car radio into the megaphone. The girls described the serenade as "Quite lively, but too loud."

The Republican campaigners left after a five-minute barrage. "Obviously Harvard men," said Cabot resident Margaret V. Smith '52.
