Social Relations 1a is the most popular elective course in the College this term. Rising to the position traditionally held by classes in Economics or Government, the basic Social Relations course holds 691 undergraduates as of October 14, according to figures released yesterday by Registrar Sargent Kennedy '14.

That figure places the course second only to required English A, which this year claims a host numbering 1307. Economics A, the most desired elective last year, has dropped to second place with 560 enrollees this term under its new name of Ec 1.

Math 1a is Third

Mathematics 1a is in third place with 549, while Government 1a. which led the pack two years ago, is now fourth with 453. History 1a has 371 members, and a newcomer to the top half dozen, Music 1, keeps 329 on its rolls. In close order follow History 61a with 327 and Geology 1a with 326 undergraduates.
