Threatened aerial invasion from the northlands degenerated into a publicity stunt yesterday.

Nearly 500 bystanders watched a helicopter circle Quincy sq. at noon, only to discover when it descended that the whole thing was an advertisement for cars.

Police whistled and waved, traffic piled up, City Manager John P. Atkinson vaulted gracefully to the roof of the nearest building--and all for the Harvard Automobile Company's new Nash.
