The Freshman football team will be out to break its two-game losing streak today when it journeys into New Hampshire for the traditional Yardling-Exeter battle.
Leading the Freshmen will be Carroll Martin Lowenstein '52 of Malden, who was this week named team captain. Quarterback Lowenstein will see action most of the afternoon, since Dusty Burke, defensive quarterback, will be out of the game with a torn knee ligament.
Corrective Workouts
Coach Henry Lamar's practices have been aimed at correcting two of the squad's biggest failings--poor pass-receiving and ineffective blocking. Lamar has spent all week drilling his team through concentrated workouts on fundamentals.
The Crimson lineup: Bunce, le; Thompson, lt; Monlla, lg; Frothingham, c; Gordon, rg; Raverby, rt; Brooke, re; Lowenstein, qb; Walsh, lhb; Ossman, rhb; Ray, fb.
