There will be shades of John Robert Powers at Radcliffe today when the 'Cliffedwellers parade the latest fashions before a five judge panel to select the Annex representatives to the Intercollegiate Fashion Show.
Festivities begin at Agassiz Hall at 3 p.m. and continue at Cabot Hall from 7 to 9 p.m.
Encompassing representatives from eight colleges in the Boston area, the finals will be held at Rindge Tech on November 12 under the sponsorship of Bonwit Teller and Mademoiselle magazine. The 'Cliffe contest is being run by Signature magazine.
Rules and Regulations
Entrants must be from 5 ft. 3 in. to 5 ft. 9 in. tall (with heels) and the judges claim they will be rated primarily on poise, carriage, and style. Nothing is known as to the motif of the clothes worn, but it seems doubtful that anything as drastic as the Parisian imports will he exhiluted.
Signature has chosen Irene Tinker, Mary Norris, Pat Troxell, Bonnie Saunders, and Mary Lou Buckley as judges.
