Students will be able to get their first taste of the new priority system for stadium seating when they pick up their tickets this week for Saturday's football game with Dartmouth. The tickets are ready for collection in the H.A.A. ticket offices this morning.
Frank O. Lunden and his staff finished last night the job of processing the applications of 3936 undergraduates who will receive seats in Soldiers Field according to their class standing.
This is how the system works out for Saturday:
Seniors will sit in Section 38, starting with row F, all of 34, and part of 35. Sophomores will be farthest down field with their seats falling in Section 37, and Freshmen and graduate students will sit in the colonnade.
The ticket office is now going through applications for the Holy Cross and Princeton games, but will take time out Wednesday to handle the hordes of students who will meet the deadline for the Brown game then.
