Freshman Booter, Football Squads Make Home Stand

Three Freshman teams and the Varsity cross-country squad will keep the home fires burning this weekend, as most major teams carry the fight to the Plains of West Point.

The jayvee football team will accompany the Varsity westward on Friday, for a game against Army's second string. This will make a total of 72 players that will be on tap for Saturday's Varsity encounter, and Art Valpey is planning to dress several men for both games.

The Varsity soccer squad will also play at the Point, taking on a reputedly rough and tumble Cadet team on Friday afternoon. Freshman booters will journey to South Bifield for a Saturday game against Governer Duminer.

Henry Lamar's Freshman eleven will play their second game of the season, against Holy Cross on Soldiers Field, while both Varsity and Freshman cross-country teams will face their counter-parts from Rhode Island State here. The Freshmen will face Boston College at the same time.
