Delays Postpone Redbook 2 Weeks

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Sophomores will have to wait at least two weeks more for their already once-postponed '51 Red Books. Editor Donald M. Maynard '51 announced yesterday. Threatened printers' strikes this summer, coupled with a temporary shortage of funds, has shifted delivery from last Monday, registration day, until Saturday, October 16, at the earliest.

Originally slated for publication last May, the Red Book was first postponed until September by vote of the Class of 1951 in order to include features on spring sports, late elections, the Smoker, and the Jubilee.

The Redbook Board now feels it has covered all these items to the satisfaction of this year's Sophomores.

New ads have made up for the $75 cash funds stolen from Thayer Hall last spring.
