300 New Alumni Wait for Degrees

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Seniors looking for mid-winter degrees heard nothing from University Hall this week as College departments awaited final term grades before making their recommendations. Meanwhile, records of over 300 students begin the long grind through the University secretarial mill.

Several departments, however, have already notified their students whether or not they will be recommended. Statistics and biographies of the graduating seniors will be sent to the corporation for an election meeting on March 1.

Associate Dean Robert B. Watson '37 said that there will be no graduation ceremony for the new alumni, but that these men can attend the June graduation as members of the Class of '48.
