Med School Psychiatrist Joins Department of Social Relations

Dr. Erich Lindemann will bring his experience as an outstanding psychiatrist to the year old Department of Social Relations, it was announced Friday by the University.

An Associate in Psychiatry at the Harvard Medical School since 1941, Dr. Lindemann will continue as a staff member of the Massachusetts General Hospital concurrently with his work on the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

In his new teaching role, the Marburg University graduate will investigate the social relationships of the personality as etiological factor in mental disturbances and as a possible source of therapeutic aid.
