Sole high spot of an otherwise barren social season will be an informal dance tentatively scheduled for Friday evening, August 8, in the Lowell House Dining room, although Coordinator William E. Fuller '44 said last night that the date might have to be moved up a week.
Fuller could supply no specific information on the band, although he felt it likely that some local perennial such as Ken Reeves or Chappie Arnold would be selected to provide the music.
William Richardson '47 and Hugh D. Wheelright '47 of Adams House have already joined the planning group, and Charles Lipton '48 and Charles H. Sammond '48 will both represent Lowell House.
Final decision, even regarding the date, must remain contingent on an interhouse committee meeting Monday night, Fuller emphasized, adding that the personnel has not been completely chosen. As the lone member of the Dunster House Committee in residence during the summer, Fuller became the nucleus of the nebulous body when dance agitation first started there.
By this afternoon, Fuller declared, he hopes to have members of the committee selected from each of the Houses.
