Army, Navy, and Brown will join the Eastern Intercollegiate Baseball League next season to jump the total number of competitors to ten, it has been announced by the Eastern College Athletic Conference.
With the addition of the two service clubs and the Bruins, the home-and-home series will be abandoned and each team will meet its nine opponents once during the campaign.
The seven-team circuit, as it was run last spring, played a 12-game schedule since it was formed in 1930.
