Men departing for extended weekends on July 4 can keep their plans with easy consciences according to an official announcement by Provost Buck yesterday. "No classes will be held by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences on Saturday, July 5," he ruled.
Precision in arrival and departure, however, and attendance at the last class before and the first class after the three-day lull in summer grinding, was advised by University Hall.
Previously, July 5 had been officially listed as the last day for students in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences to change, drop, or add a course without liability for a charge for instruction. Next Thursday now becomes the last official day under such circumstances.
