Compulsory thrice weekly physical training began yesterday for all Freshmen either continuing or entering College. In addition all undergraduates and graduate students are invited by the Department of Physical Training to participate on a voluntary basis in any phase of the program.
Besides baseball and softball, which are being organized into league competition. Summer Term students may choose their activities from among singles, crew, conditioning and special exercise classes, swimming, tennis, volley ball, and rehabilitation under P.L. 16.
Required exercise must be taken on three different days during the week, Monday through Friday. Further information may be obtained from Norman W. Fradd, Assistant Director of Physical Training, in the Indoor Athletic Building.
