Trailing 4 to 2 after the singles matches, M.I.T. came back strong yesterday afternoon to take three straight doubles victories, handing the Varsity its seventh defeat in eight contests this season.

Today the Freshman squad tackles the Engineer yearlings at the Tech courts, while tomorrow both Varsity and Freshman teams will meet a highly-touted Dartmouth at Soldiers Field.

The Varsity Lineup: Backe, Tufts, Wightman, Pratt, Warren, Shwartzman, Backe and Briggs, Willner and Levin, Ames and Ecker.

The Freshman Lineup: Hughes, Nicholl, Frey, Kaynes, Deane, Preston, Zinsser, and Cohodes.
