After an initial foray into the win column last week, the Varsity tennis men again succumbed to a 7 to 3 defeat on Saturday at the hands of a powerful team of Graduates. The Grad team, composed of some of New England's ranking tours, took four of the seven singles matches before moving on to clean up three straight doubles matches.
Meanwhile the Freshmen were having better luck at Exeter, dusting off the schoolboys, 7 to 2, for their third win in four starts.
Five Varsity players left for Williams-town yesterday to take part in the three day New England Intercollegiate championship tournaments.
