Security Council Member Cadogan To Discuss UN Prospects Tonight

Voteran diplomat Sir Alexander Cadogan, Britain's permanent representative to the Security Council of the U. N., will appear on the stage of the New Lecture Hall tonight to discuss the "Problems and Prospects of the United Nations." His speech will begin at 8:30 o'clock.

Brought to the University by the United Nations Council, Cadogan will describe the Security Council and its potentialities as a weapon for peace. He will be introduced by William Y. Elliott, Professor of Government.

Earlier in the day, he will dine at the Faculty Club with the Executive Board and sponsors of the U. N. Council, and tomorrow David M. Little '18, Secretary to the University, will welcome him officially to Harvard.

Cadogan has been in the ranguard of world diplomats for the past few years, serving as British representative at the Atlantic Charter meeting.
