Two fellowships of $2,000 each have been established in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences by the Anti-Defamation League of the B'nai Brith in order to promote racial and religious understanding.

The awards are to be known as the Sigmund Livingstone Memorial Fellowships in honor of the organization's founder. They are part of a program of fellowships to be established at other colleges by the League.
