Winthrop House conquered Adams last night in a debate on the topic: "Resolved, That the United States should annex the Japanese-mandated islands." Carlos A. Arosemena '49 and Edward R. Riley '49 spoke for Winthrop, while Daniel C. Cohen '47 and Shaw Livermore, Jr. '48 represented Adams.
