Lowell Keeps Aquatic Slate Dry; Winthrop, Dunster, Deacons Win

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Lowell's swimmers maintained their undefeated intramural record last night in the Blockhouse pool, trouncing Dunster and Adams in a pair of dual meets by scores of 29 to 19 and 36 to 12.

Meanwhile three other dual meets found Dunster, Kirkland, and Winthrop taking Adams, Eliot, and Leverett. The Deacon-Mastadon splashfest proved to be a nip and tuck battle which found Kirkland waterboy's turning in a fast 1:52.8 in the final 200-yard free style relay to win the meet, 25 to 23.

Puritan Julio Vielman turned in one of the best individual times of the evening, touching the tiles in 32.8 in the 50-yard breast stroke event.
