Collector's Items Sold By Widener Yesterday

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Widener Library's second duplicate book sale was pronounced a complete success yesterday by James W. Pirie, administrative assistant in charge of the sales, who disclosed that all but a few of the books have been sold. The residue will be on sale to the public in the Lower Hall of the Library from 9 to 5 o'clock today.

Choice items now sold are former professor of Latin E. K. Rand's collection of classics and textbooks. For the collector of esoterica there are quantities of old Baedekers, a "History of Harvard," by Samuel A. Eliot, and "Harvard Memories," of Charles W. Eliot.
